BEN WEBSTER
Ben Webster brings over 10 years of guiding experience to Prairie Limits Outfitters. He has owned and operated two guiding services – High Caliber Outdoors and presently, Big Kansas Outdoors in Central Kansas. With knowledge, expertise, and passion for bird hunting – Ben aims to get as many birds down as possible.
When not guiding waterfowl, Ben can be found chasing upland game or spending time with his wife and kids and watching Chiefs football.
JOSH WRIGHT
Josh’s passion for hunting and fishing began in his home state of Wyoming. He was a sales manager for six years, but decided to make a life change more fitting to his personality and guide waterfowl/flyfishing full time. Josh says “there is nothing more fulfilling than birds doing it right and seeing clients happy after a volley is cherry on top!”
When not in Canada, Josh guides flyfishing trips on the Bighorn River and he also runs and co-owns Wind River Waterfowl in Central Wyoming. “Staying that busy is a grind but there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing”
DYLAN GRAVES
Dylan is originally from Michigan’s thumb area. He spent three seasons guiding in Kansas with Big Kansas Outdoors before moving to Wyoming to join Josh as co-owner of Wind River Waterfowl. Dylan guides for PLO in both the spring snow goose and fall hunting seasons and owns the nickname – “snow goose king.” Dylan brings a lot of wisdom and experience to PLO and is one of our longest running guides.
CARTER KLATT
Raised in the duck factory of South Dakota, Carter has been enthralled with waterfowl since he tagged along on his first hunt at the age of 5. From then on, he’s traveled most of the upper midwest chasing big feeds of ducks, honkers, and snows. “For me, it’s all about the show…putting birds feet down into the decoys and seeing everyone’s reaction.”
After graduating college with a nursing degree, Carter decided to make a life changing career switch to full time hunting and fishing guide. He currently guides flyfishing trips on the Bighorn River in Montana and joins PLO for the fall hunting seasons.
ANDREW PENROSE
Waterfowl hunting has been engrained into Andrew’s life since he was seven years old. He grew up duck hunting the grasslands of central California and was lucky to have many family members and mentors to teach him along the way. His passion for waterfowl quickly grew into an obsession. Andrew went on to attend McPherson college in central Kansas on a baseball scholarship where, (as he puts it) majored in waterfowl hunting and minored in getting his degree.
After college he accepted a position working for Big Kansas Outdoors where he is currently in his second guide season. His favorite thing about guiding waterfowl is sharing the excitement with people right before the birds do it perfectly into the decoys!
Travers Blair
Travers was born and raised in Sand Springs, Oklahoma where he grew up hunting from the get go. Like most die-hards, he quickly fell in love with waterfowl hunting and eventually progressed into guiding locally. After spending 10 years in the pipeline industry he decided to chase a lifelong dream and guide full time. He has spent the last couple of seasons guiding for Bluestem Waterfowl in OK and will be joining us 2025 for his first Canada season. Travers says big spins of lesser Canada geese and snow geese are what he lives for!
When not guiding, Travers spends his time traveling and running a mobile detailing business.
